Removing remaining render of red brick chimney and then cleaning brickwork

I have removed majority of render from chimney, up until roof line. I have mainly used chisel and hammer so far and breaks away pretty easily. Remainder render to be removed, and then entire chimney will need to be cleaned (not sure how - acid maybe) to get it back to its nice old red brick colour
