On the evening of Wednesday the 18th of July, 2012, at exactly 19:55 and eleven seconds the job counter on the Service Central system ticked over to 300,000. As we partied into the night celebrating this momentous achievement, our IT team worked hard to verify the competition winner. As the sun rose the next day it was confirmed, we had a winner!
With a guess that Service Central’s 300,000th job would be posted on the 18th of July, 2012 at 20:03 in the evening, Milton Howard of Leopold Victoria won the competition and in turn became the proud owner of a brand new Apple iPad.
Milton’s guess was remarkably accurate. He was just 469 seconds away from the exact time that the 300,000th job was posted. Great work Milton!
Milton is a happy Service Central customer having used Service Central before. He is coming into our office this week to pick up the iPad. We will make sure to take a picture of Milton with his brand new iPad for all to see.

On our Facebook Page there is already a conversation that has started about Service Central’s next competition. Service Central has now had over $937 Million worth posted on the system by people looking for local businesses. It’s suggested that the next competition should be to guess when Service Central will hit the $1 Billion mark! Its not that far away!
