Tech Tip: Integrate Dropbox into your Gmail

If you're an advanced user of Gmail and are frustrated with how hard it is to get files in and out of Dropbox from your emails, then Attachments.me have created a great solution.

This is for advanced users only and requires you to be using both Gmail as your email client as well as Google Chrome as your browser, plus you need to use Dropbox (or Box.net) to manage your files online.

So once you've jumped through all of those hoops, Attachments.me is a great service.

We came across attachments.me when we were frustrated with working out how to manage files that you receive by email from one person and then want to email through to another. We had to download each file, store it on our hard drive, and then create a new email and attach it. Attachments.me makes this easy. You simple download their Chrome Extension, and log it into your Gmail and Dropbox Accounts. Then whenever you go to gmail you can choose to download your attachments directly to Dropbox, and then upload them to other emails.
