How much of a rebate will you get?
Rebates in ACT work slightly differently than in other states. Before investing in solar hot water systems, you need to book an energy audit of your home. This costs you $30 and will give you a report on the things that you can do to reduce your home's energy use.
Once you've got the report, if you spend over $2000 on items highlighted in the report (one of which could be solar hot water systems) you can receive a rebate of $500 plus the $30 audit fee refunded.
