You are invited to have a sneak peek of the new House & Garden Quick Quote App. After months of development the new App is just about ready to be released to the public. The App looks great, works fantastically, and just needs final sign-off from House & Garden before it goes live.

When you download the House & Garden Quick Quote App, this icon will appear on your smartphone.
The Home Screen
From the outset you are greeted with the beautiful simplicity of the H&G Quick Quote App. You can learn all about the app by clicking on the green "About this App" button in the top right hand corner, register yourself and set up an account (super simple to do if you use the Facebook option), or dive straight in and Get a Quote.
Requesting a Quote
Getting a Quote through the App is surprisingly quick and easy. Whether it is the speed of the App, or its simplicity, using their Get a Quote function seems much quicker than than going online or even making a call to a call centre. You are presented with a series of simple questions, including the ability to add in a photo of the job you need done directly from your smartphone.Here are a series of screenshots from the H&G Quick Quote App:
Managing the Job Requests
Once you have submitted your request, the App then makes it super simple to view the businesses that have responded, their contact details (including a link in the App to call each business directly), business profiles (information which is drawn straight in from each businesses Service Central profile), customer feedback, and each businesses compliance details regarding their licences and insurances.
It is also simple to provide Feedback on each business.
The App is so close. All of the functionality is there and it works perfectly. The designers have done a great job in making the App look great, and work seamlessly.
The App will be available for both iPhones and Android Phones.
We are now awaiting final sign-off from House & Garden Magazine before the App goes live. Their biggest concern at this point is that we won't have enough tradespeople and service providers to keep up with the demand from the 2 million home owners that they have in their database, as well as the 700,000+ people that read their high quality magazine each month.
