Things are racing aheadIt's been a productive couple of days on the bathroom project.After a couple of days puttering around under the floorboards with no visible progress being made things suddenly seem to be leaping ahead.
The day before yesterday the shower tray was installed and the shower taps were fitted.
This is actually the most exciting thing that's happened to me in ages. I sat on the bathroom floor the night before last stroking my new shower tray. I realise it's sad, but I am very, very excited about it. Yesterday things moved on again. Not only did the much debated tiles finally turn up, but so did my tiler. He managed to nearly tile out the shower in a day.
And today my sink went in and the rest of the tiles went up. I'm starting to think that it's all going to come together very quickly now.
Tomorrow the new floor goes down and the tiles get grouted. After that the bath needs fitting and the shower doors need to be siliconed up, but then it'll all be finished. (!!!)
