Interactive Mind Reading Trick
This might just seem like another of those 'pick a number between 1 and 10 tricks' but it definitely takes the trick a whole lot further! See for yourself.
I'm not really sure what's going on here. It started with the usual pick a number, but suddenly there were animals and countries and colours involved... and it still managed to guess exactly what I was thinking!
Can you work out they do it? Because I'll be honest, I haven't got a clue!

The first bit is just a mathematical quirk and you will always end up with "4" no matter what number you start with (1*9-5, 2*9=18=9-5, 3*9=27=9-5 etc etc). Then 4="D". The next part works on the very strong likelyhood that when you think of a country starting with "D" you'll think of Denmark (there isn't much choice really, only 1 or 2 other coutries start with "D") and so the second letter is "e". What animal is someone most likely to think of that starts with "E"? Elephant of course! What colour is an Elephant? Gray! The trick is they lead you through a whole lot of steps that seemingly would lead to a hue range of possible answer but in fact you re beingled by the nose (trunk? no pun intended) and most people will get a gray elephant!

LOL it got it wrong! I thought of Djibouti and the second letter is J, so I thought of a jaguar which is yellow or black...clever me hahaha

used to Denmark & Elephants, same result, ie Denmark (country) Elephants are grey.(0not gray).

Technically, it's the Republic of Djibouti, so maybe back to the drawing board ther Alec. are Jellyfish animals, they have no organs and their cell structure I think also excludes them from the animal category. -
