I require a local architect to draw up plans for a home extension

I AM RESEARCHING WHAT IS INVOLVED IN EXTENDING MY 28sq2 single storey house to a double storey.
House is a Henely (Voyager, built in 2006).
i have looked at several designs;
my requirements are 4 bedrooms ( incl. master ensuite w/ W.I.C & balcony .),common area or study,1 full bath, linen closet with laundry chute.
staircaise w/ resonable size storage capabilities.
This is just a general description. i will go into more detail once contacted by Architect.
