TV repair front lounge room - I think a fuse has gone

Television has been working but now not working - it might be because of faulty power point but I suspect a fuse has gone following a storm. I guess the television was "the weakest link".
I have had major spinal problems this year - this is a heavy TV, older style and definitely NOT flat screen LCD. I am unable to get it to my vehicle to a repair centre - I need a home visit. The TV is only about 7 to 8 years old. No previous problems with TV. It is an LG Model RT29FA30RX
