my treadmill has started stopping about 15-20 secs after it begins operation. it is a power first t960 serial # 0710 01766.
when it stops it is giving a e1 error code on the screen. according to the trouble shooting guide it is because the console has not received a signal from the speed sensor for 15 secs. it suggests to inspect the wiring, ensure the speed sensor is sitting 3mm from the magnet on the front roller pulley and to re-insert the wiring jack to ensure a firm connection is made. all of which i have done. if all this fails it suggests replacing the sensor. have had the treadmill for 4 years and have recently began using it again after about a 4 month lay off. was working fine on sunday but been u/s since monday. i live at 20 dinwoodie ave clarence gardens 5039.
