The burners in my Emilia gas oven will not stay lit. Stove top burners OK

To light the oven you have to ignite then hold the temperature knob in for about 10 seconds. Now, when I release it, the gas seems to stop flowing to the oven burners and they go out. All five burners on the top are working fine. The stove is an Emilia, model EL865MVI. Also, the rubber seal around the oven needs replacing, it has been broken for some time.
