The dishwasher turns on and you can select a programme and the programme light flashes on the display screen but when you hit the start button there is no beep and when you close the door you get an error message on the front display screen stating that the appliance was not started. I have done a press and hold of the start button to try a resets but that does not work either. It should be noted that we had a large storm last night and several of our electrical appliances blew but we have checked the fuse for the dishwasher and that is fine and the power and on/off works fine.
