St George double oven temperature selector not responding.

The temperature up and down button does not respond. Oven temps set at 70 and seems to stay at that temperature. Left on for an hour and the oven did not get very hot. Thermostat seems to work. oven looks quite new, Grill seems to work.
Just moved into this house guessing ovens are 3-4 years old.
