Hello,
I have a York T200 treadmill that was purchased brand new on 11 March 2008 and it has been working fine with no problem at all until a few weeks ago. It gets used pretty much on a daily basis. It was turned on to use after having already been used earlier in the day and it would not operate. Instead of making a short on and then completely off "beep" noise as it normally does when it's first turned on to use, it now makes a steady continuous "beep" noise and nothing happens. In addition to the continuous "beep" noise the console panel does not illuminate either. The treadmill is plugged into a circuit surge protector and we have not had any electrical surges at our house. I eliminated the possibility of the problem being a defective circuit surge protector by plugging the treadmill electrical plug directing into the wall power outlet. It still did not operate. Other electrical devices work fine when plugged into the wall electrical outlet and electrical circuit surge protector so this also eliminates both of them as being the possible source of the problem. I suspect the problem to be a defective main circuit board or the control console panel assembly circuit board. I don't smell any type of a burnt smell from the treadmill motor or see any melted electrical wiring insulation either. Could you please give me a price quote to purchase a brand new main circuit board and main control console assembly? Thank you for your assistance with this.
