Our front-loading washing machine will not start the cycle. The display is showing as per normal, but the cycle is not starting. I suspect it has something to do with the door's locking mechanism, as we are still able to open the door after pressing the start button. We are about to leave for a holiday on tuesday and would very much like to remedy this before we leave.
