I'm planning to buy a secondhand washing machine from someone on gumtree but would like to know how much it costs to fix it before I commit.
According to the seller:
Whirlpool AWM285-800 Front Loader. Has a problem with the program wheel which is somewhat broken, which means it stops 2-3 times during the cycle and you have to turn the wheel slightly for it to continue the cycle.
Also the start button is tricky. We placed it in a permanent "ON" position and it works fine that way. We actually turn the machine on and off at the wall electricity plug. Washes just fine.
Could you please give me a quote on fixing this?
PS. I'm on vacation overseas at the moment so email would be best.
