Hello, I have an LG 42 " Plasma that has a black vertical line running down the right centre or thereabouts. Have done some research and I believe it is only a loose solder joint which needs to be re done. We used to tap it at the bottom of the screen to get rid of it but now you need to really bang it . The TV is about 5 years old.
