Panasonic DVD/VCR Combo Recorder, model number DMR-ES35V fails to read any type of DVD ( Ones recorded with the unit and commercial ones) VCR part of the unit is ok. Maybe faulty laser or similar problem. Paid about $450 for it new. Do not wish to spen to much repairing it
