NordicTrak Treadmill is not powering up

The Treadmill is approximately 8 years old. It has a transformer (?) that plugs into the wall and the treadmill runs off that. When I plug the treadmill in, nothing happens. We've had a series of storms leading up to this, so it's possible that something blew? This is the first time the treadmill hasn't worked. The powerpoint works as I can run my exercise bike off it.
