Nordictrack 5600r treadmill - no response from control panel

The treadmill has been very reliable but the stop button stoped working some time ago. This time the start button did not respond. I removed the control panel to check for loose wires etc. Replaced panel and now get an array of lights breifly at start up then no lights and unresponsive. Even fans don't work. It is 5 years old and needs some tlc all round. Is it worth refurbishing / repairing. Can drop off to keep cost down if required.
