The washing machine is a LG 8.5 KG Top Loader model number WT-R852 aounrd 5 years of age. When selecting a warm cycle the hot water does not seem to enter the machine but escapes onto the floor.... When using purely cold water now there seems to be a strange noise when it is going through the spin cycle, and the drum does not spin. On inspection with the back plate off something (plastic) has punctured the hose at the bottom of the drum which makes it leak water also.
