I have a Garmin GPS, model nuvi 55LMT 3AEO18344

The Garmin GPS was placed in the central console of the car with the lead still attached.
(PS the lead should have been disconnected from the GPS after use )
The result is that the fitting in the back of the GPS that connects to the lead is bent slightly and does not allow the lead to connect normally or sufficiently into the fitting in order to make a proper contact and to operate the GPS
