Grundig Xentia 26'' LCD TV - Screen goes black, bad backlight video board?

Dear Madam/Sir - I have a Grundig Xentia 26'' LCD TV that is 4-5 yrs/o. Recently, when we turn it on, the picture comes on OK but in a few minutes the screen goes black. If I turn the power off at the wall and wait a few minutes, turn power back on - the TV will work again but for only a few minutes. The sound is still there but no video. It's like something (backlight video board?) is over heating or dying . This was a very expensive LCD TV five years ago. BTW - I have had an old analogue TV for 20+ years, no problems. Thank you for your help.
