Inherited a Whirlpool fridge (top freezer, single door) which is a few years old but in good nick. When it was back at my place (after sitting for a day) it powered on OK. Came home later to the mains tripped and isolated the cause to the fridge. Had someone go over the cabling with a multimeter and something is shorting.
