Fix/replace?? a bottled gas stove- it has explosive flames as smells of gas

Each burner doesnt allow the gas to flow properly when you adjust the knobs, for example, two burners on the same setting will have different amounts of gas flowing through it. or one burner will burn with a certain amount of flame at a setting and increase the flame on its own without the setting having been adjusted after a short period of time.
also, yellow flame comes out of the burners which leaves a black residue on all the cookware. i have spoken to some people about it and they believe its because too much oxygen is mixing with the gas. when the burners are on, you can also smell gas as though its leaking from somewhere else and on three occassions some kind of backdraft has occurred where the flames just go out at the burner and then back down the tube and the flame woofs out the centre piece of the stove (where no flame is meant to occur).
the first two times it happened didnt seem that bad but the third time it actually blew the centre piece off the stove.
