Electric oven (simpson )brand has shut off after power failure

For about a minute my computer screen started shaking and lights started dimming. this was followed by a load crackling noise and then a bang. everything returned to normal except for the oven (simpson) which i'm assuming blew up and also threw the switch which i had to reset. the fan in the oven still works but nothing else and the cooktop was not affected.
i would also like to inquire about getting a light installed beneath our highset back deck.
