Dometic Fridge giving concern in my Windsor van.

Ready to go,turned fridge on using gas, after several minutes smelt a burning smell, went outside to fridge vent and saw smoke coming out of vent,immediately turned off gas. Turned fridge on using AC, fridge certainly began cooling down, but I was concerned when one of the pipes in the back of the fridge became very hot, turned power off.
