i have a dualit model d2behus toaster (120vac) from when i lived in us which i now wish to use back in australia (230vac)
as i would rather not use a step transformer i set about finding what modifications need to be made to the product
i emailed dualit uk service dept who advised i needed only to change the elements and the plug and it would be fine.
purchased 230 vac genuine dualit elements from sydney agent and swapped out the 120 vac ones. when i plugged in and switched on i think it blew the on/off switch which also selects one slice, two slice, or bagel toasting. interestingly though this component is marked 120 / 240 ?
now looking for an electrical repair specialist who knows dualit toasters ?
