Asko d'washer D1706 - not enough water coming in on thecycle to wash dishes

The dishwasher cycle seems to be working - some water is coming in but not much as plates not wet and not enough water to effectively wash the dishes or dissolve the dish wash tablet. Dishes are hot at the end of the cycle but not clean! We have tried to see if the pipe from the sink is blocked and have emptied it once and drained it but still the issue remains. Please help ASAP!
