I have a couple of tasks with regards to a possible “Antenna Installation / Upgrade” & Foxtel Upgrade (including Hardware & Cabling).
Yarraville always seems to have “Dodgy” reception on certain FTA channels for some reason? I have 3 TV’s in the house all with different symptoms with regards what they are able to “Pick Up” on FTA television.
Checking the cabling previously with a meter – there seems to be a significant drop in signal across the current set up between for example the connections to Wall Sockets #1,#2 & #3.
I’m wondering whether a new up to date antenna & subsequent cabling will possibly fix this issue and give me a complete suite of FTA channels throughout the property?
Task is to achieve consistency throughout house.
Also – I’m currently running a Foxtel set up (Series 1 – Pre IQ stuff) with single outputs – two boxes (i.e. Dual LNB split into 2 separate outputs). I’m looking to install a Quad LNB on the dish in order to be in a position to cable to Two IQ boxes in the future.
