When remote is set to heating or cooling the unit will open, however the green operation lamp flashes, then the unit closes immediately. the air conditioner will not stay on when set to either cooling or heating. If set to DRY or FAN operation only the unit works just fine.
Have checked the filters & they seem ok. Cannot check to see if the outdoor unit is blocked or obstructed as it is mounted on a skillion roof.
The unit was working fine last week, we did have a power failure three nights ago, so not sure if this has played a part, but doubt it.
Have someone coming to look at the job on Friday 9th of January 2009, but would prefer someone before then.
