I have a 7.4 kw split system air conditioner that i want installed on the driveway side of the house. the outside unit will need to be fitted on a wall bracket, as there isn't enough room on the ground for it to fit, and for the cars to fit down the driveway also. we also have a "granny flat" out the back whose electricity supply runs off the main house's switchboard, so we'll need advice as to whether the air-con unit can actually be installed via the main switchboard, or will there need to be an additional 3-phase power supply added?
