We are building 2 townhouses in Richmond and would like a quote for the installation of multi split systems in both.
We require the following indoor units:
-3 x 2.5kW per townhouse (for bedrooms, 2 on ground floor, 1 on first floor) = 6 units
-1 x 5kW per townhouse (living/kitchen on first floor) = 2 units
-1 x 5kW for the rooftop terrace of the 1st townhouse only = 1 unit
-Total of 9 indoor units to be installed
We're currently siding towards the Mitsubishi Signature Series units (http://www.mitsubishielectric.com.au/Mitsubishi_MSZ-EF-VE.html) but for the outdoor compressor I'm not sure what we would need. I was thinking a 10kW for unit 1 and 8kW for unit 2 - had a look at the MXZ-4C80VA / MXZ-5C100VA and the SCM80ZJ-S1 / SCM100ZJ-S1 but I don't know what the difference is between the 2 ranges so open to suggestions.
The construction of the townhouses will be as follows:
-Brick veneer on ground floor
-Rendered ezyclad on 3 walls of first floor and brick on 1 wall
-Combination of rendered ezyclad, brick, glass & timber on rooftop terrace
-Roof is predominately a flat metal roof, with a small section that will be a pitched tile roof
-All indoor units should be able to be mounted on an external wall, however there is no room for the outdoor unit to sit on the ground so will probably need to go on the roof.
Please let me know the cost and timeline for installation, and also if you are able to get some good trade prices for the supply also. I've currently found some prices online already but if you can get some better prices then that would be fantastic!
