Supply and install one mitsubishi heavy industries split system air conditioner (model srk35zga-s/src35zg-s) in a west facing bedroom (with a " parents retreat" annexe.) the building concerned is of brick veneer construction. the particular unit specified is required.
because of the westward slope of the site, it will be necessary to install the external unit on a wall mounted platform at least 1 meter above ground level on the west facing wall (at interior floor level) - or, probably, higher. with the internal unit on the longer wall of the "parents retreat" it is probable that 3 - 4 metres of piping/cabling will be required between the external and internal units, with the piping up the external wall, across the ceiling of the room in the roof space and then down to the internal unit via the void in the internal wall. (units will not be back-to-back.) minor internal wall damage above the internal unit can be tolerated and repaired by the owner. a suitable cover on the external piping/cabling is required.
