Dig up or poison blackberry roots. (Blackberries are NOT trees).

Leonie requested 2 quotes from Handymen in Vermont South

I have approx. 6 metres of blackberry roots along the back fence to be either dug up or poisoned. (I tried Roundup and it didn't work).
The roots were dug up a few months ago but obviously some were left behind and have sprouted again. I would like to get rid of them before they grow any bigger. Please note that blackberries are prickly vines, NOT TREES.
