- Repair dripping taps by replacing washers.
- Using mixer taps that pre-selects the waters temperature rather than wasting water down the drain whilst getting the temperature right.
- Install a rainwater tank.

- Install a low-flow showerhead.
- Ensure that your toilet is dual-flush.
- Keep your showers short.
- Don't rinse your razor under a running tap. Instead filling the basin with water can use less water.

- Divert your grey water to your garden, or a grey water system.
