I have gas in the kitchen, want to extend gas pipe (1.6m) to lounge room

the gas outlet is in the kitchen, inside one cupboard. I want to extend the gas connection to the lounge room, making holes through 1 cabinet and one plasterboard wall, approximately 1.6 meters away, so I can have a gas outlet in the lounge room to connect a gas heater.
