Chaffoteaux et Maury - Bayard 10 requires repair

Unit at least 10 years old. Although the gas flame still ignites with water pressure, the water only warms to tepid, and the flame does not appear as intense as it used to be. I have followed the manual and adjusting the dials makes no difference. The external gas tap is definately open to full. Perhaps the venturi needs replacing?
