the existing driveway turning circle into the carport needs to be expanded.
i have removed trees from the area that needs a retaining wall built and extended.
the distance is approx 10 metres for this wall.. then continuing onto another retaining wall. this retaining wall is approx 7 metres section.
the height of the walls will be less than 1 metre and actually in some sections are probably 1/2 a metre.
clean fill will be required to fill the hole
then options for a cost-effective driveway surface
- including any ideas - pavers, crush rock
note: the existing driveway pavers are original and 30+ years old - so keep that in mind
i am thinking the retaining walls can be constructed from h4 treated pine using h & c channels.
a timber step is required along the main 10 metre retaining wall.
