I have ordered a egr 2000l (slimline) water tank (0.82m w x 1.7m l x 2.1m h) which is to be positioned against the back wall on paving that already exists.
A gutter mesh is to be installed above the outlet.
The gutter outlet should be fitted from the underside of the gutter to prevent obstruction of water flow.
Provide and fit rain heads to the downpipes to stop gutter blocking.
Provide and install water diverter to prevent the first flush of most contamianted rain water from entering the tank.
Provide necessary pipes and tap as required.
According to the supplier the tank has an inlet at one end, a 90mm pvc overflow at the same end, and 25mm brass outlets at both ends. The installer will need to drill out the required 25mm outlet.
A plumbers receipt and a certificate of compliance will be required alongwith a reasonable warranty on labour and material.
I also need 2 downpipes from the garage and 2 from the front of the house to be disconnected from the main drainage system so that when it rains the water will flow into the garden instead of into the main drainage system.
