I am going to commence building my home in Wallan VIC 3756 in April this year. As a special condition in the Section 32, I require a 2000l water tank connected to my toilets (2). 20 year old Brick house on a sloping block, has decking to two sides, currently there are 3 old chemical 1000lt tanks connected together under the deck with a small pump.
I need these replaced with an alternative - would prefer more capacity, current set up is a 'back yard' job and leaks like the Titanic.
Also after ideas, solutions and prices on where else I can capture and store water.
House does have some room for a slimline style tank and there is also a large area of space underneath the house due to the slope of the land.
Mainly after the water for garden use, but if the cost is not to high, would like to connect it to one or both of the dunnys.
My round measurements work out to about 350sq metres of tiled room to catch the water.
