Drain in shower on upper level has always been a problem in that the dainage is slow. We have tried Draino and other similar products with no real result. I have just tried another product and this seems to have blocked it completely and now there is a 2cm layer of water sitting in the shower recess. We are hoping that a bathroom eel might remedy the problem - we would like to purchase one for future use. HELP!.

All of the kitchen and bathroom appliances (sinks, toilet, dishwasher, washing machine, shower) are draining very slowly or if there is too much water they overflow out of a floor drain in the bathroom.
I have tried draino, mo-flo (sulphuric acid) and rootblock to clear the blockage but it has not improved. Could someone with an electric eal please contact me to unblock the drains.
Our house has a reflux valve is this of any importance?

All drains in the house drain slowly, and there is some backflow in sinks, when a lot of water flows down e.g. Emptying the washing machine, flushing the toilet. Probably due to plant roots. Please note that my sewerage pipes are the narrower standard.
