Laptop power cable broken. Wire inside plastic lead is broken needs fixed
The power lead for my laptop has broken inside the plastic cable. The site of the break is close to the part which plugs into the laptop. To fix this the cable would need to be opened and maybe have the wires soldered together. Someone who is an electrician who does this sort of thing daily would be able to do this sort of job with their eyes closed. I do not want to attempt it myself incase i make a mess of it.

We need new lcd hd 42" installed in family room and cabled to our dvd plus foxtel. The old 42" needs transferring to bedroom and connection to dvd plus foxtel box as well. Slave available to help unpack/carry tvs. Challenge is to get job completed with minimal disruption to tennis/cricket viewing asap!.
