Room 1 - Place joists in in a approx 2.8 x 2.5 room and floorbaords over the top (second hand tassie oak to match rest of house) plaster 2 walls. Raise ceiling in the room to match remainder of house. Install window where existing door is.
Kitchen - Install French doors in existing window space (doors to be made), level floor where door sill will be (by removing a course of bricks and either packing joist or other advised method).
Decking - 5m x 3.1m decking area in merbau with galvinised screws, to be level with sill from French doors.

Single floorboard broken and needs replacing

Within our house we have floorboards which have been sanded and stained. A single floorboard has cracked down the middle and needs to be removed and replaced. The floorboard appears to have given way through wear and tear along a facture within the board rather than rot or termites or anything like that.
In the event that a few boards need to be removed and replaced to fix the issue then that is fine.
The job requires the board to be replaced with a second hand board of similar age and wood type. The board should be sanded back, but the job doesn't require the board to be stained to match the remainder of the floor. This repair job is essentially a stop-gap measure until such time that we can afford to redo the whole floor.

My bedroom floorboards are very creaky and also a little "weak" in places.
