The remote has not been working for about 6 months, we have been turning the TV on at the switch. When we press the switch the red stand-by light comes on but the TV does not turn on.

Hi there, i have a plasma 50' panasonic tv, unfortunately the power supply keeps switching off, i turn the tv on and after a certain period of time it turns off by itself, the red light stays on standby mode.

Hen powering on the TV the green lights comes on as usual, the TV screen starts up as per normal (about 20 to 30 seconds) then a little click is heard and teh TV powers back down to standby mode - red light.
Hitachi Plasma 42 inch about 2 to 3 years old - P42H01
Happy to dropp it off or have someone come and fix it.

Half the screen disappears or goes green and them comes back on plasma phps
The screen on our philips plasma keeps flashing up green or disappearing and then comes back - sound never goes. Happens regulary. And just goes back to working again sometimes when you tap the side of the tv.

Our tv which is connected to Stream Pro Power protector went off during a power surge last night.
The other dvd and receiver cam back on .
The TV did not.
We tried plugging it into anoth point on the surge protector and also into anoth socket.
We also purchased another power cord
It still doesnot work.
