Advice or assistance on repairing a 5000 L gal tank that has a small hole

I have a used galvanised water tank which has a small hole near its base. It may also have pin holes elsewhere in the bottom, although the sides are rust-free and structurally sound. I would like to purchase a polythene liner to go inside the tank or find another solution to enable the tank to be used to store rain water for garden watering purposes. The tank is 2.2 metres in diameter and 1.24 metres high and is empty and I can deliver it for repair.
