Install a security sensor light on a porch

There is currently a light on the outside of the porch controlled by a switch in the house. I want the new sensor light to just piggy back off this same switch. Cabling from existing light goes up into roof space from outside inside conduit so should be easy enough to tap into it.

Problems getting outdoor light sensor to work

I changed the globe and the light itself works. I don't know how to make it so it only comes on during the evening when it senses motion. I'm not sure if it doesn't work any more or if I've just forgotten how to use it.
