Confirm connection from mdf to socket in apartment isp has confirmed there are no issues at the exchange and no faults from the street to the mdf. Two modems have been tested with no luck. Assume cabling or socket issue.

Hi guys i just brought(second hand) a westinghouse PXL698W and was previously hard wired.. I have just removed the old oven.. Was a westinghouse silloutte GAS.. Gas is gone..
Can the new oven just have a plug put on and put into normal power point? or will it have to be hard wired? how is this done

1)Fans - Replace existing 4 which are fan only to 3 fan/lights in bedrooms and 1 fan only lounge. Disconnect existing on-wall lighting in bedrooms.
2)Smoke Alarm - Replace existing.
3)Front light/sensor (separate components currently) - Replace existing to all-in-one sensor light.
4)Add new outdoor light on a small back deck.
5)Add new outdoor all weather double powerpoint on deck.
6)There could be a couple of gang switches which need replacing.
So far we have the fans/sensor light/smoke alarm/outdoor powerpoint/light.

The aim of this installation is to consolidate all incoming connections to the house, ie phone lines and Satellite feeds, and all distribution points ie RG6 coax and Cat6 ethernet to patch panels in a rack.
1. Require installation of RG6 and Cat6 cable in residential house to 9 points in the house. Some points will have up to 3x RG6 cables and 2x Cat6 cables. All cabling is to originate from a central patch panel to be located in the garage in a 42U sized rack.
2. Also require the recabling of the phone line to the patch panel. The phone line carries to seperate lines. From inspection the phone lines approach the house at the garage so recabling may be straight forward.
3. Also require cabling for satellite cabling for Foxtel and other satellite receiver. House used to have satellite Foxtel and still has the dish. We need the cable from the dish to terminate to the patch panel. The foxtel dish and the to be installed second dish are located at the back of the house furthest from the garage.
- I have all equipment,ie faceplates, patch panel, rack, connection inserts and cabling, so only require the installation labour. House is a brick veener with wooden frame, single storey. Access to roof space is available but space constrained.
- The house has currently two inactive foxtel points and a number of phone points. The wall holes from these would be used but replaced with the new wallpates to provide extra connections. I am flexible in point location if it would simplify the installation.
- The house has been recently purchased and is currently empty of furniture. We would like to move in soon and as a result need to complete this cabling as soon as possible. All parts are at the house and the installation can be started at any time.
