i have an oil painting which has not been painted on canvas but rather material which needs to be framed. since the painting was done on material, there is no need to stretch it as it will tear so it would need to be glued to mdf hardboard and framed in a black frame or dark wood type frame - no glass required. we don't want the whole thing to fall apart in a few years.
